The reopening of the federal government after an agreement in the Senate is a welcome development.
There were no discernible impacts on the University of Wisconsin-Madison during the weekend impasse.
The university continues to advocate for a timely, bipartisan agreement on the FY18 federal budget and resolution to the status of DACA participants, whom we support.
