The Universities of Wisconsin are calling on Wisconsinites to share their federal financial aid stories to help preserve educational opportunities for future generations.
For decades – from the GI Bill to today – the federal government has been a foundation for ensuring students and families from all socioeconomic backgrounds have access to life-changing educational opportunities. As the U.S. Congress considers changes to federal financial aid programs that would narrow the availability of financial aid for college students, decreasing affordability and reducing access, the Universities of Wisconsin are calling on Wisconsinites to help protect and preserve these opportunities for all Wisconsinites, which are critical to Wisconsin’s economic vibrancy.
