Students, researchers, faculty and leaders at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Marquette University offer their congratulations to Senator Tammy Baldwin for her award as a 2020 Champion of Science by The Science Coalition (TSC).
The award honors members of Congress whose actions and votes consistently reflect their commitment to fundamental science through funding investment for federal research agencies.
Sen. Baldwin was jointly nominated for the award by UW–Madison and Marquette University, both members of TSC, for her support of fundamental scientific research. Her dedication to research and fact-based information helps promote the great work done at these two preeminent institutions.
